Flights

Tenerife has two airports: Tenerife South (TFS) and Tenerife North (TFN).

Most direct flights from London arrive at TFS.

Either airport works as they are relatively close to each other, so chose whatever flight works best for you.

🚕

Getting around

There are plenty of taxis around the island. Local taxis are usually white cabs with a light on top. Opt for those if possible, as Uber tends to be more premium and expensive.

Tip: if you can't find a taxi, ask the nearest hotel to call one for you (they can also pre-book taxis in advance for you if needed).

🚗

Car rental

If you'd like to explore the island, renting a car is the best option: easiest and more cost effective. We recommend picking up your car at the airport to save on taxi fees. Parking is free almost everywhere.

We've had good experiences with: TopCar, Autoreisen and Cicar.

Tip: If you are driving to popular scenic spots/hikes, go earlier in the day as parking can fill up quickly.

Accommodation

Stay in the South (recommended)

Areas: Costa Adeje, Playa Fañabé, La Caleta, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas

Also good: Callao Salvaje and Playa Paraiso (best if you have a car)

Perfect for those looking for a classic beach holiday

The south offers the best beaches, biggest choice of hotels and restaurants, and easiest access to our shuttle pickup zones.

Stay in the North (closer to the venue)

Areas: Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Great for those who want to explore the north. This part has the Anaga Forest, vineyards, wild beaches, Loro Parque; and is famous for great hiking trails and stunning views.

Taxis/cars are the easiest option for getting to/from the venue. Just about a 30-minute drive.

Hotel Group Discount Option

We are arranging a group discount with a selection of GF Hotels in Costa Adeje. They offer a range of hotels across different budgets. The discount applies once a minimum of 10 guests have booked across the participating hotels.

If you'd like to use this option, we need to know how many people are interested before offering the discount code to avoid disappointment.

Please register your interest below by the 16th of April. We will email everyone who registers once we reach 10 people with the personalised booking link.

Register Your Interest

Thank you! Your interest has been registered. We'll be in touch once we reach the minimum number of guests.

⚠️ If you want the discount, please don't book directly with the hotels yet. The discounted rate will be available via a group link once we reach 10 guests.

Note: GF Noelia (⭐⭐⭐) is available too, but it isn't part of the group discount (their rates are already lower).

You are of course very welcome to stay anywhere you like — another hotel, an Airbnb, or wherever suits you best 😊

Shuttle Pickup Points

We will be providing complimentary shuttle service from the South of Tenerife to the venue and back on the day of the wedding. Below are the provisional pickup zones and times. We will confirm the final schedule closer to the wedding once we know the final day schedule and where everyone is staying.

Keep an eye out for this section.

Pick up times and locations to be confirmed

Please note: If you're staying in the North (Puerto de la Cruz / La Laguna) or other areas, we recommend arranging a taxi to and from the venue. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

Return shuttles: Shuttles will depart from the venue at approximately 01:00 AM, dropping guests back at the same pickup points. Exact departure timings will be confirmed closer to the date.

Shuttle planning

Help us plan! If you already know where you're staying, please let us know and whether you are likely to use the shuttle. This helps us finalise the routes and timings. Please confirm by end of April.

Thank You! 😊
